Tiger Woods Getting Over the Scandal

Just about everyone watched as Tiger Woods experienced a very rough patch in his life. Over the past months the tabloids have done their best to bring him down and we thought they were successful.  Today he is returning and we can look forward to seeing him in the major championships once again.  Tiger recently played against his mentor and friend Mark O’Meara at the Augusta National, this time without a scandalous tale attached.

He spoke with Pal Case and Jim Furyk during practice and we hope the tabloids won’t read something into this.  Anyone who is a fan of professional golf knows that there was no celebration of Tiger Woods not playing golf.  Although there was some embracing to be seen, it was nothing to comment on.  Tiger is the number one player in the world and he is in good spirits and seems ready to be back in the game.

The tabloids will move on to their next victim as the interest in Tiger dies down.  They are quick to pick on the newest celebrity who will be caught just being human.  Marital infidelity is not to be disregarded and cheating only show character weakness but he is an adult and he made his choices.

Knowing Your Baseball

Because baseball is the easiest sport to handicap, it is a good sport to bet on. Sportsbooks, both in Nevada and online, have been known to say they are happy to just break even during baseball season.  Why then don’t more people bet on baseball? There are money making opportunities in this sport but unfortunately many people do not understand the betting system of baseball.

Another reason for the lack of bets is the time it takes to study the teams.  This is important information to know if you want to make a wise wager.  Knowing the pitchers is also important so if you are ready to learn, everything you need to know can be found online.

Once you have this information behind you, you will be ready to find an online website to place your bet.  You will first find the baseball lines to see who is favored and then decide how you will bet.   With more experience and continuing to keep up on team players and other information, you will increase your skills and make wiser bets as time goes by.  Before you know it, you are winning more and passing your knowledge on to those who are new to betting on baseball.

How To Win On Football Betting Sites

If you bet on football, you obviously want to win. Even if you’re betting for entertainment purposes only, it’s a lot more fun to win than it is to lose. If you want to be realistic about winning on football and you want to shock your football betting sites this season, pay very careful attention.

The first thing you need to do is get yourself in the right mindset. This is a marathon, not a sprint. You should also curb your expectations. It only takes a winning percentage of 52.4% to beat the vig. Those who claim to win 80% in the NFL or more are liars. The best handicapper in the business wins 60% over the long term. This might not sound like much, but it’s actually very profitable.

All you need to do is figure out the top 7 teams in the NFL. Once that is established, regardless of what week it is, you must stick with those teams throughout the entire season. This means that regardless of the line, or how well or poor they’re playing, you must always bet on these 7 teams – week in and week out. Consider that the worst record against the spread in the past three seasons for teams with winning records is 7-9. This means that if you stick with the teams who win games, and those teams only, over the course of a season, you’re never going to get killed. You will, however, have an opportunity to make a considerable amount of money. Give it a whirl. You might be surprised.

horseThe Cheltenham Festival is just around the corner. One of the most anticipated races would have to be the Champion Hurdle, attracting a lot of avid punters from all across the globe. In the run up to the race the Champion Hurdle betting market is sure to hot up. The race is also featured on the first day of Cheltenham Festival, with several top horses competing for the trophy. Since this is a run of over two miles and a half a furlong, strength and solid pace are the two characters a horse must have to take home the trophy.

Several top horses will be competing in the Champion Hurdle indeed. Competing horses such as Go Native and Solwhit will surely make this race interesting to follow, especially because they are in superb form and have the most chances of winning this year’s Champion Hurdle. Other top horses including Zaynar, Medermit, Punjabi, Binocular, and of course the Khyber Kim will also be competing for the top place, making this race that much more interesting.

Go Native is favored by a lot of bookmakers to win this year’s Champion Hurdle. With odds on him and Solwhit just a slight apart, it will be hard to decide who have the more chances of winning this year’s Champion Hurdle. This will certainly make betting a bit harder to do, but it will also make it a lot more challenging.

A good place to start is to find horses with enough Cheltenham experiences. You should be able to identify them easily by going through their track records. This is essentially important because 15 out of the last 16 winners are all horses with enough Cheltenham experiences, meaning they have competed in Cheltenham event before the Champion Hurdle. Since Champion Hurdle is also a superbly challenging race, Irish and British horses generally have more chances; Irish horses have won the Champion Hurdle 7 times while British horses hold the record of winning 8 Champion Hurdle trophies.
